We expect to have a great tournament and want
everyone to have a fun and pleasant experience. Please remember we are a Zero
Tolerance Association. If any parent/coach engages in heckling,
swearing or creating a disturbance, he or she will be asked to leave the arena
and will be barred for the remainder of the tournament.

rules for the tournament are as follows:
USA Hockey Rules apply or as adapted by Mason City Youth Hockey.
Fighting will not be tolerated. Fighting in a game will result in ejection. Fighting will be determined by the referee's and or tournament director. The North Iowa Ice Arena is a zero tolerance arena. Tournament Directors decision is final.
Teams must be at the arena 1 hour prior to 1 st game, 45 minutes prior to game time for all others. If games are running ahead of schedule, the next game will start early. If team is not on the ice when warm up time is completed it will be assessed a 2 minute delay of game penalty to start the game.
Games will be 12:00 minute run clock for 1st and 2nd periods then with 3rd period 12 minute stop clock. 4:00 minute warm up with 1:00 minute rest between periods. A 5 goal differential will result in a running clock in the third period or until the score is 4 goals or less.
Tournament is round robin format. Round robin scoring will be as follows:
Win = 2 points
Loss = 0 points
Tie = 1 point
