The Spring Show will be our focus for the next several weeks. Our club has always put together a wonderful professional looking show each year and I am sure this year will be no exception. Our theme this year is “North Iowa Figure Skating Club” - 25 years!! This year marks the 25 th anniversary of the North Iowa Figure Skating Club! That is quite a milestone. We will be asking many alumni of the club from throughout the years to come and skate and celebrate with us. You may see more on this as we get closer to the date. We hope to possibly have some of the original members of the club join us for this celebration!
Please continue to check the bulletin board at the arena for any scheduling changes. We will try to keep things as close as possible to where they are now but once in awhile a coach may need to call an additional practice or make a change. We will do our best to keep you posted. Thank you for your understanding!
Everyone should have received ticket packets for the show. If you have not, please call me or Terry Patchen (424-3788) to make arrangements to get them. We are asking each family to sell a minimum of 15 tickets. This is a last major fundraiser and we hope to make enough from the show to pay the last ice bill for the club. The money and any left over tickets need to be turned in to Terry at the dress rehearsal. We will be offering a $25 gift card to the family that sells the most tickets!
We will have flowers and bears to sell at the show to honor our skaters. If you have relatives or out of town guests coming let them know that flowers and stuffed animals will be at the arena for them to purchase for their special skater.
The Corporan family has generously donated a figure skating themed quilt for us to sell donation chances for. See pictures of this quilt on the board. It would be great to have to wrap up in while waiting for your skater at the arena!! We will begin selling chances to win this quilt next week and at the shows. The winner will be announced at Sunday’s show.
It is virtually impossible to develop and staff a show without considerable volunteer help. Please be help us out when asked or if you haven’t been asked but would like to help call Kris Enabnit at 641-357-7888. We are a non-profit club and rely totally on volunteer efforts to keep going. We appreciate any kind of help you can offer. Thank you!!
